Meet Michael
Welcome to Langmead Associates – Chartered residential and commercial building surveyors in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.
We offer a professional service in the world of buildings. The practice was formed in 1980 by Michael Langmead; a Chartered surveyor who qualified as an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1973 and was elected as a fellow in 1984.
Michael started his career with the Hertfordshire County Council as a trainee surveyor in 1963 and continued with the London Borough of Brent and then with private Surveying Practices.
Of particular note, Michael joined Langdon & Every in 1974 and spent two and a half years in the Middle East, initially in Iran and Qatar and then subsequently setting up and managing new offices for the practice in the Emirates of Dubai and Sharjah.
Michael embarked on a freelance career in 1980 and set up a practice on his own account in 1985 under the name of Langmead Associates.
The Practice was registered at Companies House as a limited company in June 2014.
